I will Fear No Evil (Psalm 23:4)

In this session, we will delve into a period of David’s life characterized by a deep personal struggle—his walk through the ‘valley of the shadow of death.’ We will examine the threatening shadows that David faced and his confrontations with fear. In this context, Psalm 23:4 gains profound significance, revealing a moment of intimate connection between David and God amidst the valley’s darkness.

Made to be Resilient

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4
Did you know that God has designed us to be resilient? By His Spirit, we have been given everything we need to survive and thrive in life as we remain rooted in Him. I am excited to dive into God’s Word and share practical ways we can strive to be resilient as we run our race with endurance.

Filtered: The Lens of Love

Our past, our problems, and our pain can influence our perception of God, ourselves, and others. In the natural realm, we are impacted by what we see with our physical sight. God, however, calls us to walk by faith and not by sight. The Lord desires to give us a new “look” at the obstacles and challenges. As we persevere in our faith we can choose to view our lives through the lens of love.

Krystle Cocchio

Perfectly Loved

One of the most insidious things that keep us and our identities from being fully rooted in Christ are insecurities. In this session, Krystle shares her personal struggle with insecurity while walking us through the story of Martha in the scriptures. And through each, she identifies several ways that God loves us perfectly through what can be a difficult and painful restoration process.

Finding Joy and Friendship in The Growth
The journey in how we will walk through hard things, find joy, and grow spiritually is in how we choose to be rooted in Christ. It can look very different depending on how we are anchored in His Word, while also leaning on our earthly support system, which includes our Christ-centered friendships.
